December 22, 2006

East Coast hard rock outfit FRANKENSTEIN 3000 has been added to New Year's Rock Fest at Don Hill's in New York City on Thursday, December 28. L.A. GUNS is also appearing and NEW YORK DOLLS vocalist David Johansen is hosting the evening. The show is being taped for broadcast on Japan's Fuji television.

FRANKENSTEIN 3000 is featured on Main Man Records' "This Ain't Spinal Tap", a recreation of the original soundtrack to the hit mockumentary "This Is Spinal Tap". Their contribution, "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight", appears alongside such artists as GENERATION X guitarist Derwood Andrews ("Cups And Cakes") and original ALICE COOPER bassist Dennis Dunaway ("Big Bottom"). The CD is limited to 150 numbered copies and is available only at the Main Man Records web site here.

In early 2007 Main Man Records will be releasing the next FRANKENSTEIN 3000 album, the follow-up to their covers CD, "America's Hit Remakers".
